Exceptional Rigidity, Heat Resistance, Low Warpage

IPCON’s PA6-CF grades significantly enhance the stiffness, strength, and heat resistance of standard PA6 via specialized carbon fiber reinforcement, achieving Heat Deflection Temperatures (HDT) of 197°C and 191°C, respectively. The unique formulation effectively eliminates printing warpage. This allows for large-sized parts to be printed without a heated chamber or brims, while still delivering excellent surface quality. These properties make it ideal for high-rigidity, high-strength, and heat-resistant components in dry environments where aesthetics are important, such as drying trays, air fryer handles, and hair dryer nozzles.

A unique formula design and carbon fiber reinforcement technology solve printing warpage issues. Large models can be printed with adhesive applied, without the need for a heated chamber.

Key Notes

Nozzle Requirements: Use hardened nozzles (≥0.4mm) to prevent clogging and wear from the carbon fibers in PA6-CF.
Filament Drying: Dry used or stored filaments at 90–120°C for 8–14 hours before printing. Keep filament sealed with desiccant during printing (≤35°C, ≤20% RH).
Printing Setup: High interlayer strength, low warp. Use included glue on heated bed (80–100°C), nozzle 280–300°C. Heated chamber enhances results.
Moisture Sensitivity: Moisture reduces strength/stiffness. Avoid humid, high-rigidity uses. Coat with paint or wax to block water uptake.
