IPCON PPS CF and PPS GF retain the inherent top-tier flame retardancy and extreme high-temperature resistance of PPS. Additionally, PPS GF possesses excellent and stable electrical insulation properties, making it suitable for constructing a “thermal runaway firewall” in demanding components such as automotive turbo intake pipes, new energy vehicle battery brackets, and high-temperature electrical equipment housings.

IPCON PPS CF retains the outstanding hydrolysis, solvent, and chemical resistance inherent to PPS. Their extremely low water absorption ensures almost no degradation in printing strength under wet conditions, making them ideal for challenging applications such as automotive fuel systems, steam sterilization of medical devices, and chemical pump valves.

Extremely low water absorption: 0.05%, only 1/4 that of PC and 1/16 that of PAᴴᵀ. Strength retention > 90% after 500 hours of high-pressure steam cycling at 121°C. Strength retention > 85% after 168 hours of immersion in highly corrosive media such as 50% sulfuric acid and 40% sodium hydroxide.

Key Notes

Nozzle Requirements: Use hardened nozzles (≥0.4mm aperture) made of hardened steel, tungsten carbide, or diamond to prevent clogging and wear from the carbon/glass fibers in PPS CF/PPS GF.
Filament Drying & Storage: Dry opened or stored spools at 100–140°C for 6–8 hours before printing. Maintain filament in a dry, sealed environment with desiccant during printing (≤120°C, ≤20% RH).
Optimal Printing Setup: Use an enclosed printer with chamber heating (e.g., Bambu Lab H2D/H2S). Apply the provided glue stick to a 100-120°C bed and print at 320-360°C to prevent warping and ensure top performance.
